Just curious, what's the most strict state as far as motorcycle laws? I live in Sconsin, so it's pretty lenient, as far as noise and such.

i am a first time carbuyer, i am self employed, i have a 700+ credit score with very clean credit. although, i dont have any W2's, paystub or anything like that. i am a real estate flipper so i dont have an employer except for my LLC, but on paper i loose money every year. i have over 200k in cash in the bank, and i would be more than willing to put down 20k on a 60k car i want, but can i get financing on the remaining balance? i can verify the assets, but i havent received any type of paycheck in years. does anyone know who i could call or where i could go to get this done? is there a website i could go to or a particular bank? thanks a lot, i really appreciate it your help with this.

I'm contemplating buying a Harley but I'm told that one thing I must not forget is keeping the bloody chrome clean, that it's an investment of several days a week if I don't want it to rust. Is this true? Do Harley owners find it to be time-consuming, yet enjoyable?

Yay, I'm 16!!! And I'm getting a car soon. Now, I've always wanted a mustang, but now I'm seeing that EVERYONE has mustangs, so they seem less appealing to me now. So I'm wondering, does anyone know of a car similar to or better than a Mustang i could get??

And it can't be a Mazada RX 8 because my best friend just got one :(

I have a 96 toyota corrolla, last week the car would start but it sounded alot "slower" whenever i cranked it. It did this the whole week sometimes it started right up without the hesitation but it never not started when i turned the key. Tonight I went outside and it had the hesitation and then it was followed by click click click.....i tried to restart it a little later and it sounded like it wanted started but ended in the click again. the lights are on in the car, radio, etc...the outside lights appear to be a little dim. Could this be the battery or could this be the starter or something completely different..i'm a woman so give me a break lol

My rear "check engine" light keeps going on (w/ no code-only when hot/congested traffic), and my mechanic said this is a sign the catalytic convertor could be starting to go. So, I have to keep going back/waiting until the code is for bad catalytic convertor.

Are there any other signs that will tell me when it finally decides to conk out?

my motorcycle riding friends wants to know if you can control fuel consumption by means of not pulling throttle level too much? I mean, if you pull less throttle on bikes, does it help in lessening fuel consumption. and that, a full throttle means a fully open carburator valve which means higher fuel consumption.is it right?

The RV is located 800 miles away. I paid the deposit and will bring the balance with me. Is it legal to drive it back prior to title transfer and registration? Also, will I be able to insure it prior to these steps?

Six weeks ago, I bought a used motorcycle via eBay, from North Carolina (I live in California). When I went to register the vehicle, I was told by DMV that it does not comply with CA emissions regulations and cannot be registered in this state. So now what do I do? Is the seller obligated to take it back? The title and registration is still in his name, but the financing for it is now in my name.

What do i need to install a supercharger on a 1.5L engine, it might sound a little silly but my friend got a toyota corolla or at least had one that was supercharged. I asked him if he knew but he bought it that way and he knows nothing about cars and which is why his car is gone. Anyways what do i need? if its even possible to install a supercharger, i would install a turbo but supercharagers are easyer to install and i have a perfect spot for it. Do i need intercooler, wastegate, and all those diffrent things, or can i just slap it on there connect a belt and reprogram my ECU and iam good to go. Or will i need all those things? To tell you the truth my car is not even a sports car or nothin, its actually an 02 ECHO, but i know its possible to put a turbo on it ive seen a few before, but a supercharger i dont know, thats why iam here to ask the pros, waht will i need, where to get it, and what size supercharger should i run.

Thanks for your advice about accompanying my son to watch trains. I put my misconceptions aside and went with him, and actually met a "railfan" (I hope i got the term right) that despite his outdated clothes seemed quite nice. I accepted an invitation to have a coffee at his place (I'm now single and there's a man shortage in my area! so I can't be too picky...)

His apartment (actually the lower level of his parents house) looked like a hurricane had gone through...the place was filthy, but it seemed like every square inch of the walls were covered by train pictures. He started telling me all these number code of the train manufacturer's and the history of them. I tried to steer the convo in to normal stuff like where did you go to school, when will you get back to working, etc...but he kept going back to trains. A shame since he seemed like a kind guy . I ended up feining a cell phone call and going before the coffee was ready since I was afraid of the dirty cup. Is this the norm?

the rear break on my cavalier makes a thumping sounds sometimes as I am letting up on the break. It doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes it almost feels as if someone rear ended me. What could be the cause?
Thank you,
