Yes you can. There are kits that can be bought just for your car that fit in just the say as if the factory did it. It is a little costly. Over $1,000.

I would not use used parts if you want it to work like new.

I wouldn't buy it. It is costly to install the system. You can go with something like Vintage Air but if you want it to look original then you are getting into even more cash. good luck.

Yes you can. but how much money do want to spend? A qualified A/C tech can put a air conditioner on the moon, if you have the cash, I know, it is what I am. Sid M

If the model was able to be purchased with an airconditioner, then it is possible (Get the parts from a salvage yard). However, it won't be very cost effective - the cost of parts and labor would be immense! You're better off trading it in for one that has it, then doing that!

You can find places that will do it but it'll cost ya and it won't work as well as a factory system. If you want AC, don't buy that car, find one that has it already from the factory.

Yes, but it's a hassle and I wouldn't recommend going that route. Unless this deal is exceptional, look for a car that has what you want.

YES IT CAN BE DONE BUT...................

IT WILL COST YOU AT LEAST $1000.00.

IT WILL LEAK WATER ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE FLOOR BOARD.

IT WILL NOT WORK OR COOL AS YOU WILL EXPECT.

THE REASON THAT I KNOW THIS IS THAT WE USED TO INSTALL AFTERMARKET A/C SYSTEMS IN MANY TYPES OF VEHICLES AND BELIEVE ME YOU DO NOT WANT TO INSTALL AN A/C IN THIS VEHICLE.

Seriously? I wouldn't even buy it because that car is supposed to come standard with an a/c. My 89 mustang has an a/c.

yes, if the car has enough engine power to support it. Some old vw's didn't have enough, and I don't know about some of these little 4 cyl. cars.
