I had my brakes done on all 4 wheels about a month ago...My brakes are squeaking alot....more now than before I had brought the car in...since I don't know alot about cars, what do I ask and tell the garage when I take it back in?

The credit union that is financing, told me that the dealership has to pay off my trade-in but it has been over 15 days and nothing has happened.

Can somebody explain to me why you do not use indicators that you have in your cars? As a foreign national, I do not understand why you use such cars if you do not bother to indicate. I have a British licence and I passed my test here but when I am on the road it looks like that half of the people do not have a clue why they have indicators in their cars. Sometimes they go right and indicate left, sometimes they do not indicate at all. So the question is: Why do you have cars with indicators in England? You do not need them.

I'm about to get a 2000 Trans Am, and I hear that in order not to lose any horsepower, i have to use atleast 92 octane gas (hopefully not true). I currently go to a place that i think uses 87-89 octane. Should I use a booster in my car to get all the performance out of it?

a 2003 Ford Escape. I owe around 10,000.00 for it. It has 100,000 miles on it and is in decent shape. It's the base model. Do you think that I can trade it in and have it completely paid off? Thanks!

It was midnight and my friend called me to pcik him up from a party a few blocks away from my house and drive him home cause he was drunk. I didnt think that much of it cause i had my permit and he had his licence but hes 16 and im 16. I was getting my licence 3 weeks after this. Well i picked him up and then whn i got there i turned the car off and waited for him he got in the car and for some reason i just for got to turn the headlights on. So i get like 2 blocks away and i get pulled over. Well i got arrested for no licence and the car gets impunded and the cop just gives my friend a ride home and knows hes drunk but sais dont worry i won't tell your parents about the this to him. Well I was really looking forward to getting my licence so i wonder in court if i show up there with my licence because i can legally get it like 5 days before i go to court. Do you think if i tell the judge my story he/she wont suspend my licence because i was just helping a friend out.

I am looking to buy my first car, and I have narrowed it down to two.

So, which is better:

A 1996 Eclipse GS for $1,000
or a 1987 Dodge Shadow for $695?

I am looking for something that is good on gas, that performs good, and that is at least a little cute.

loud. It sounds like it has really big fat tires and makes that vibration like sound. Kinda like when you first put new tires on a truck and it sounds funny at first. It does not have big or new tires on it, so what could be making that sound?

My brother and I are thinking about buying an inflatable fishing boat for rivers and lakes. Is it a good investment? We like the idea of the inflatable because it's simple and doesnt take up space. I didn't have the keys in the ignition and I've done the manual window operation via the door. I've also had two mechanics look at it and they're at a loss which means mucho dinero for me. i had a ant problem in my car and I made the foolish mistake of using ant powder on the seats. they are not leather and they just soaked up the powder. now my seats have white marks all over them. I've tried vacuuming, scrubbing with soap and water, and bissel all purpose cleaner. I think it just made it worse. what can I use to clean the seats? please help
