Boeing and Airbus are looking to the future and the prospects of a huge future market for the replacement for todays 737 and A320 aircraft which have become the backbone of most fleets around the world. The aircraft would no doubt be all composit. To me it seems like Boeing at this time seems more likely to be in a position to be first. Airbus will no doubt follow suit.

Here's an excerp from an article in FLIGHT magazine.

Looking beyond the A350, Hess has his sights fixed on the glittering prospect of the Airbus and Boeing narrowbody replacement programmes. The two aircraft manufacturers continue to circle one another like wary boxers, and the Hamilton Sundstrand president wouldn’t be surprised if one of them made a sudden move in the next couple of years. And that, he believes, would galvanise the systems suppliers into a bidding frenzy.

“That’s the market everybody in the industry is lusting after, given the delivery rates and volumes these aircraft will generate,”

I had an accident in Houston, TX, and the illegal immigrant who hit me had no license or insurance. The cop said that he could not arrest him. I got screwed out of paying $3000 in damages for my car because I have only limited liability, which covers other drivers hit by me. What legal action can I take againt the illegal? what are my next steps now? Can I put a lien on his car?

The Lockheed F-117A Nighthawk is a stealth ground attack aircraft flown solely by the United States Air Force. As a product of the Lockheed Have Blue stealth prototype program, it became the first operational aircraft initially designed around stealth technology.

The F-117A was widely publicized during the Gulf War. The Air Force has been trying to retire the F-117, due mainly to the deployment of the more effective F-22 Raptor. The Air Force is planning to retire the F-117 from October 2006 to 2008,[3][4] and no new pilots will be trained to fly the plane

The brakes still made noise, then they told me the calipers needed to be changed. They still make alittle noise. The only way I can describe the noise is the sound you make if you run your finger across a plate and a little squealing.I think Midas[car shop] is trying to rip me off.

1983 honda VT750C shadow motorcycle cranks and starts fine when engine is cold, but when fully warmed up the starter seems really strained to rotate engine and push through the compression stroke. It is worse on very hot days when engine runs hotter, it never overheats. It has never failed to start ,but sometimes I have had to release the starter button momentarily and push it again to get the engine to rotate and start. A local mechanic is trying to convince me that this normal for this model motorcycle. It has a new battery and very recent starter brushes replacement. Anybody familiar with this particular bike? Thanks

Acid will turn polished surface white and dull. I don't want to cut and buff everytime boat is used. Need to clean without dulling polished surfaces.

once it is warmed up and you shut it off it will not start, you have to open the throttle wide open and it takes a long time, but evenually will start. it was pumping a lot of gas into the carbs, so we got a carb kit for it and put that in and it didn't seem to help. any recommendations would be greatly appreciated Thanks!

The right blinker works fine but when I try to use the left it doesn't work. The light comes on but doesn't blink. The indicator in the dash stays lit and dosen't blink either. It blinks when the hazards are on but otherwise it doesn't. When I try to turn to the left the switch doesn't reset like it does when I switch it to turn right. I checked all the bulbs and they are all fine. Don't know what's wrong with it.

Anyone know of a pre-assembled kit to convert my belt final to chain? 2006 FXD35 Superglide. I already planned on buying individual parts, but thought someone may have done it already. Belt finals are great for fair weather, but I ride year 'round. My rear pulley shows exessive wear from all the road crap I picked up. $155.00 for a stock replacement, about $1000.00 to have the dealer replace both pulleys and the belt. Not happening every 12K miles.

Hi!

I have an Oldsmobile delta 88 1973 and when I move at about 40 Km/h the car vibrate a little but over 50 Km/h or more it stop.

Also, sometimes when moving and I remove my foot from the accelerator, I can hear a CLANK CLANK CLANK noise, like empty conserve cans under the car, it do that about 1 or 2 times every 10Km or less...

I tried to move the drive shaft by hand to see if something is loose but it solid like rock so I don't know if it's really the universal joint.

And if it's that, how much it cost to repair that problem in a garage?? Parts + labour??

Thanks!!
