A full fuel tank will help give you a cleaner gas tank by not allowing a lot of air stored in the tank and with that air comes moisture which will condense on the exposed metal in the un-full tank,(especially in the winter) with that said moisture+metal=RUST.

not really ,especially if your running short trips all the time,if you think about it gas weighs well over 8 pounds per gallon,so with a full tank your carrying around a lot of dead weight especially around town,i never keep mine over a half a tank unless its in the winter time, but some will say its a good idea and others not,but if you think about the extra weight ,then it doesn't make sense to do this, the only time i do it is when i know its going to go up like before a holiday ,other than that its alright to keep it above a half a tank, its really up to you though on this one.some people prefer a full tank over a half a tank.good luck, hope this helps.

Two answers to this question.
#1. Yes. Fewer stops means you save gasoline.
#2. The fuel pump is swimming in the gasoline and the more gas you have in the tank the cooler the pump will run. Folks who put in two dollars here and five dollars there (on an empty tank) are destined to see their pumps die a premature death.

None, other than in some cold climates it prevents water droplets in the fuel lines which could cause a freeze up or dilute the fuel.
