Acid will turn polished surface white and dull. I don't want to cut and buff everytime boat is used. Need to clean without dulling polished surfaces.

I know nothing about boats but to clean a highly polished surface w/o scratching use Bon- Ami or Bartender's Friend...both are Ajax type powder cleansers that will not scratch glass so I'm guessing they will work for your boat...I use them to clean the surface of flat top grills in the restaurant

Tilex or Simple Green but we usually use the acidic pontoon cleaner diluted somewhat.
