I replaced the coils/wires on my well running CB350 because of decay and cracking.

After I got everything hooked back up correctly, it started up easily but now the left side feels significantly weaker at the muffler vs. the right side.

Around 4-5k RPM's the bike starts to backfire and struggle to go. I pulled the spark plugs and they seemed fine - not white lean or soaked rich - a middle like brown color.

Could this be a points problem?

I recently bought a 1992 Suzuki GSX600F Katana sport bike as my first bike, and I was wondering what type of chain lube I should use on it? I've asked a couple people and have heard completely different answers, so I was wondering what you guys think. Some people told me any chain lube is fine, others told me to just use 20w50 motor oil (??).

I started driving a manual car again recently and i have been wondering about two old habits i have while driving stick. Is it ok to

1. Skip gears while driving. Such as going from 2nd to 5th?

2. Put the car in a high gear while going slow. Such as putting it in 5th while going 25 or 30 mph? Also, would that save gas?

Just wondering, as i have forgotten to turn the power knife switch off several times. I think the only risk was shorting the engine, but not sure.

I have a 1991 Suzuki Escudo (like a sidekick) and one of the dashboard warning lights occasionally comes on for a very short period of time, and then goes off again, and I don't know what it means. It looks sort of like a round rectangle with blips at the sides and three wavy lines coming up from the top. (Engine light maybe?) I bought the car used, and the owner no longer had the owner's manual, so I am not sure what the light means. Does anyone know what the different symbols on the dashboard mean? Because the car is old and has been driven often on extremely rough roads, it seems as though it might just be a wiring issue - some of the other lights in the car also occasionally do/don't work or come off and on. Thanks!

It is lodged there and does not seem to be coming out or being pushed in any further. Do you think that it needs immediate attention (possibly a change of tyre)?

OK, so I was at the gas station, just finished filling up and I went to open the door to get back out to double check i had put the gas cap back on. As I did, a HUGHE wind gust from this insanely stupid storm front moving through riped the door out of my hand and flung it foward to hard it bent the hinges i think, not it doesn't hit the little stud right and wont close, its offset, and I am really pissed about it.

Any ideas on the best way to fix this and if I can avoid having it done at a shop?

I owe 8000.00 on it still. Can I sell it private party even though I owe money on it still? Would it be better if I traded it in? Can somebody explain to me what would be better and easier way of doing this transaction.
