I bought my car, new, 6 years ago in the UK. During that time I have only seen three others. What do you think it is. 100 points for the right answer.[I know Mr Yahoo]

The mechanic told me that the cost of repairing a bad exhaust valve could run over $1000 because of the cost of labor. Time consuming because they have to take apart so much stuff to get to the problem.

this is a question purely because Im curious...does anyone with any knowledge of engineeering or archictecture, think that there could theoretically be a road link between Dover and Calais? A road tunnel perhaps? or even a suspension bridge? a suspension bridge would really be something! Is it scientifically possible ( I think the distance is about 19 miles )?

like I said I have no reason to want to know this, its just the wonderings of an idle mind lol

would be quite interested to find out

I posted similar question a little while ago but would like more answers....thanks.

93,000 miles
Engine size is 4.7L 8 cyl
4WD all the time
Problem is when it reaches a speed of about 40 to 45 miles an hour while pressing the accelerator it makes a knocking noise. I took it to get it tested and I would like someone else opinion. I am taking it to a different shop tomorrow but in the mean time.....they drove it and hooked it to a machine and said it had torqe converter failure and it showed an error on the gear ratio. They told me it's gonna cost $429 JUST to take out the transmission and look to see exactly what is wrong but it could be a number of things once they get inside the transmission. Anyone heard of this before? I have never had to take a vehicle to the shop so I don't know what to expect. Thanks.

Everything is pretty much rebuilt on the bike, except the clutch. It still has the original (3) speed, automatic Clutch. Once you get it in the 1st and after the intial jerk all is good.

down to zero amps, then back to 10 amps. It's doing this over and over. I am used to charging a battery and it will start out at about 15 amps then slowly go down to 2 or so amps and the green light will come on saying "fully charged".

Does the back and forth motion of the meter mean the battery is bad? It's a deep cycle battery.

I go to school at a college with train tracks running through it. Most of the trains are relatively fast, but there occasionally are slower ones. What is the best way to go about catching or hopping on a train?
