I have heard that if you ride a 250cc-500cc engine you are at a greater risk than a 600cc-1000+cc. Is this true? and if so why?

Yeah just got new brakes on my 2003 BMW 325i and a couple days later i have noticed a severe squeaking when the breaks are warmed up. is this normal for new breaks that havent been warn in yet?

Not sure what to look for. I have given it a tuneup, and still this dash light keeps coming on. I checked with a mechanic who said it was probably a faulty egr valve. before I fork out 75 dollars for a new one I looked it up to see what the symptoms were for a bad egr valve. My car has none of them. The engine runs perfectly fine. no pings, no loss of performance, just this dash light that keeps popping on. Any ideas what could be causing it?

But only when I'm using the cd player...they work fine with fm and am radio. The speakers work for a few minutes then go out...I switch it to fm radio and then back to the cd player and the right speakrs work again for a few minutes only to go out again. Any ideas as to why its doing this? Even better, how do i fix this!?

I just bought a car recently, and the next day it got hit by the reversing car from the other side of the road. There's 2 witnesses saw the car model and plate number. But the police told me that the car plate number isn't right, and can't be tracked.

The whole rear part of my car is damaged! That driver must have done some speed to cause this horrible damages! I can't claim from the insurance, 'coz of the unauthorized registration number the witness given.

I don't know what I shall do. I really want to find out who did it, and this kind of people shouldn't be driven on the road.

So tomorrow, my mom and I are going into town and checking out the used car lots. What are some good things to look for in a used car? We only plan on spending about 900$, which I realize won't get be a Ferari, but it'll at least get me something that I can get around in.

Sometimes you see people driving over speed bumps one tire at a time. Like this: driver's side wheel, then passenger side wheel, and same with the back wheels.

Has anyone had torsion bars cranked to get a lift, is this the easiest way besides getting body or susps. lifts?
I know about the pros- but what about the CONS? Anything that might break down or get loosen, anything.

I live in North Queensland Australia and the housing market has gone through the roof over the last five years or so. The market is now slowing down. I'm single and have been saving to get a morgage. I have a healthy deposit, however my car is not in good shape it's twenty years old and is requiring more and more outlay. My question is... do I get a new car, second hand car and use some of my savings? Or do I keep saving and when I'm able to find a house I can afford (which I don't feel will happen for at least another two years) get extra on the loan for the car?
