I heard on the news that FEMA is selling hundreds of the trailers they bought for Katrina victims at discount rates. How would I find out more about it? Who would I contact? Is there a web site?

I have a 1997 Ford Aspire and im getting about 21 miles to the gallon . What the hell could be causing a car that should be getting 40 miles to the gallon to do so bad ? I have changed the air filter , and spark plugs . What else?

has anyone had any problems with the tire system? my mechanic said there was something wrong with the rims...the guy @ the chrysler dealer said it was something i did (of course). it's under warranty but he's blaming me and telling me it's not covered. the "tire system needs service soon" light is on constantly. anyone have anything like this?

I was making a left hand turn with a green turn signal and a driver heading the opposite direction ran her red light, did not see my car in the intersection and t-boned my vehicle, totaling it and causing me multiple bodily injuries. She was issued the citation and I also have a witness who stated seeing her run the red light, yet her insurance company is not yet willing to admit liability in the accident.

I am already dealing with the issue on if being a Canadian car insurance company while the accident occurred in Florida. I have a lawyer since I have no comp/collision coverage on my vehicle through my policy so therefore I have to individually seek out their company. I'm also 38 week pregnant.

In cases like this - ticket cited, witness to the fact - and the insurance company is denying liability, what are the chances they'd be able to prove this or will they drop it and just pay up without going to court.

I'm fast approaching the point where I need to buy my first car. I've thought about getting a Smart car coz i've always liked 'em, but thinkin' about it i don't wanna be embarassed because you either like them or hate them. It'd be a 2nd hand one, any advice on other cars? They have to be economical, cheap to insure and basically no more than £2k. :)

I scraped my mustang on a pole. It left scatches and paint from the pole. Should I use a rubbing compound, clean the area and then use a rubbing compound to remove paint and scratches, or something else altogether?

I've noticed that on Me 109 fighter, machineguns are positioned right behind the propeler, so I vander how bullets from machineguns pass through propeller, and dont konock it off???

Ok so I have a 1999 Ford mustang. Lately my wipers will go on by themselves out of no where, and the other day I rolled my windows down and they wouldn’t go back up till a few minutes later. Some people have said it could be my spark plugs or fuses. But I need some input. I don’t want to pay someone just so they can tell me what’s wrong, and then pay again to fix it. Also my right door won’t unlock, it has to be opened from the inside. It’s not manual. Can someone give me any ideas on what it could be???

Duramax Diesel 2002 Chevrolet 2500

Started the truck this morning, ran for two minutes then died. Has power, turns over and is not giving me any computer codes. No dead fuses either.

I took off the fuel filter and it looked all good, I put it back on and primed it (When it's primed all the way the nipple on the bottom of the filter leaks, I imagine this is a normal overflow).

I have a feeling that the truck won't run because of something to do with the Fuel Filter sensor but I'm not quite sure, any ideas?

Has anyone ever had a car repossessd (spelling?), What is the process and what steps can the dealership take to get their money. Is it better to just give them back the car versus having them come find it. What if you change jobs can they find your next employer. Can they still bug the people listed as references?

My fiance purchased a car a year ago from a used car dealership. He is paying 24% interest which is a rip off. He also pays biweekly. Then last week he got pulled over, apparently the cop ran his plates and found that the plates the dealership gave him were to another vehicle!!! The cop was really cool about the situation but it could have been a mess. They still haven't given him new plates. He paid for the registration and they may want him to pay for new plates even though it was their mistake. Does anyone have any ideas on what we can do.

He is willing to give the car back and find a cheaper vehicle. His credit is not great, but I have already been approved for him

i hit a car and i left a scratch approximately 8 inches long, the paint was scraped off, and i kind of scratched the front headlight also. the owner of the car called back and said the estimate is 1597.99 and i know there is no way in hell that the repair cost can be that high.. they have a camry 2005 and is their estimate too high?

Any time it rains or snows, the truck loses traction and it starts to spin out of control in the back..is there any way to fix this with weight or do I just need to start over with a new, better tractioned car?
