I am a Uk citizen and I want to buy a yacht in the US and sail it back to the UK this summer, now whilst I am an experienced sailor, I am not familiar with the buying process in the US and the paperwork etc. I am looking for a sail boat between 28 and 34 foot. any advice?

You can go to www.yachtworld.com and look at sailboats. If you purchase one from a listing on this site the broker that sells the boat will handle all the paper work and walk you through the process.

www.soundings.com has many selections. The paper work should not be a problem. We know people from UK who have purchased here and sailed back. The brokers will assist you with all you need. Crealock is a good off shore bot, also Shannon. None will be wired for the UK unless they are ordered that way.
