Yes you do i've driven both artics and rigids all with sleeper cab and slept all over the U.K.

Yes, many use the same cab unit as the C+E tractors and simply move the box back a couple of feet (or utilise an over-cab pod). Most rigids have day cabs simply because they do not cover long distances. The pay is not as good as class 1 (C+E) but you dont have any trailers to change (at night, in a tight yard) and they usually get smaller multidrops rather than full loads.

I have also slept accross the seats of a sprinter (in a Birmingham car park), no night heater and no curtains. Moorglade you are a better man than me, it was the most uncomfortable night I can remember!

I used to drive a 7.5t with a sleeper cab. Dliveries on the south coast.
I've also slept on the shores of Loch Lomond across the seats of a Sprinter van. Delivering 22 shopping trolleys to the Isle of Skye. A magical trip! Thats why I do what I do.

HI I HAVE ONE IT HAS A FIBRE GLASS CONSTUCTION ON TOP OF THE CAB.
