IT STARTED WITH THE RADIO IT WENT OUT FIRST THEN THE LIGHTS STAYED ON IT WAS RUNNING FINE JUST NO RADIO OR DVD OR ONSTAR OR FOG LIGHTS I UNHOOKED THE BATTERY AND NOW NO START WHEN I HOOKED BATTERY BACK I THINK IT MIGHT BE THE BODY CONTROLL MODULE ALL FUSES AND RELAYS ARE GOOG COULD THE FUSE BLOCK BE BAD ?

when depressed, the accelerator pedal sometime sticks, the car starts racing away, and I have to put the car in neutral, jam on the brake, the car comes to a halt, the engine revving, and I allow the pedal to return to the rest position on its own( usually takes a few seconds) very frightening, and the dealers have found nothing wrong with the car. It has happened 8 times in the last 6 weeks.

The only cars i have in mind at the moment are the BMW 3-series' and possibly other BMW's. I am looking to buy under $10,000. I know thats asking a lot but there's a nice 99' BMW 5-series across the street for $7,800 so i know its possible. Any suggestions on other types of cars or any pros/cons on used BMW's would help greatly. Thanks!

I got a 1990 Ford F150 with a 9inch rear axle and a dana 44 front axle. Im going back with a 8.8 rear axle because I busted the 9inch. The front has 3.50 gears, and I wanna go in the back with 3.55 Will this work without busting my transfer case?

I was driving and stopped at a stop sign(1994 eagle talon DL 1.8 L automatic). All of a sudden my car stopped running but lights radio still work. When I try starting it it just makes a loud click noise. (U can hear this click with the hood open). I took the starter off and got it checked and it was fine. Battery also tested fine. Also when I turn the key the lights dim lower though. Any help will be greatly appreciated!.

My car will be in a parade this weekend. We want to attach feathers to it but don't know how to do it so the paint isn't ruined. Boas would be too expensive. Could we use dabs of silly putty on it and stick a few feathers in each dab? How about rubber cement? Of course it's temporary, so I don't want to put anything on the paint that would mark it. The parade will last less than an hour, and it's not supposed to rain.

We have a 98 Volkswagon Jetta, and the brake light, (not the hand brake, but the actuall brake) ligth won't come off to put the car in drive or reverse. Is there any really easy fixes I can do to actually drive the car???

Can it be dependant on the alternator rather than the battery? I want to buy a 400 Watt inverter so as to plug it into the cigarrete lighter plug but I am worried it will drain my battery. I will be using it whilst driving on long trips.

I have a 99 Nissan Altima, standard.. today, when I started driving it to work, it was fine, but after a few minutes, when I put the car in neutral, the rpm was going from 2 to 3.5 and the engine was making the noise... When I put the car in gear, it seems fine, but at a stop light, when it is in neutral, the rpm is jumping...
