Bigger camshafts Cyl head porting and double side draft weber carbs like 40 or 45 dcoe's Headers and free flow exhaust. Lighter internals stronger connecting rods forged pistons.

there are a thousand things you can do. how much do you want to spend? a turbo or nitrous oxide setup is the most bang for the bolt on buck.
obviously you could spend a bunch on either of those. cam, higher compression pistons, ported head, these all will net you a little more hp but are labor intensive.
