This goes out to everyone. if u had enough money to buy the car of your dreams what would it be and why? what modifications would u do on it, if any? Or maybe not even a car, maybe a motorcycle or sumthing.

Like 3 years ago,me and my mom were hit by a 1992 Lincolin car, which is made of metal almost, and Was hit by a '02 Pontiac Grand Am.After That Accident,Ive Been really scared almost because I keep looking in my side view mirror, and I get really tense and I brace up in the seat. The same year Me and My Mom were hit by a guy in the winter who was on his bike on ice,who couldent stop, and he hit the side of our car,on the passenger side of the car.Why is it that whenever I go anywhere with my mom i get really tense and I brace up in the seat, but whenever Im with my grandma,I never tense and brace up.What can I do to get over that fear because its really scary.

I have a 2004 Hyundai Elantra and a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero. I heard you can go about 2 - 3 thousand more miles between oil changes if you use a synthetic blend. Is this true?

Do you think that GM should bring back the Camaro, or is it to little to late for the ailing auto manufacturer?

is there any way that i can fix a dent by myself? my car got hit by a shopping cart today and it left a huge dent in the area above where my front tire is, and another tiny one a foot away from it. i cant really go and fix it from the back because there's something in the way, and i really don't want to even know how much this is gonna cost me to go to a repair shop. the dent isn't very deep, but it's about the size of a palm.

i was feeling around in the area and i felt some screws that keep the outside metal screwed to the rest of the car (sorry if that doesn't make sense). i'm pretty sure i'd be able to take it off, but i don't know if that's a good idea.

i tried to use a plunger, and i don't think i want to use one of those suctions where i have to poke a hole in my car...so...

My Ford Ranger was in a flood a couple weeks ago, the water was up to the bottom of the doors. No water got inside the truck luckily. I am wondering what fluids/parts I should change from being submerged in water. I am planning on doing the oil and front and rear diff, but anything else? I haven't driven it since because the starter is out, but I am confident it will start when new starter is installed.

Checked coil to be OK. Get one faint spark from coil wire in a split second when engine is cranked, then nothing. Fuel pump is working. What else can I check and how do I check it?

Sorry but i dont really know too many details about the car other than it has around 110,000 miles on it and my dad's friend was gonna restore it but stopped. He's asking $1000 for it, and it comes with new doors, a hood, and a new windshield washer pump. I like the body of the car, and the fuel efficiency seems bearable. The thing that i'm worried about is the fact that when i posted this question in car-forums.com people said that the car would need worked on every week and is not a good buy becuase 85's have a carburetor....Anyways i just wanted to get a few more opinions on the car, and whether its dependable, and the parts for it are affordable.

Thanks

but the motor unit looks pretty small and basic compaired to newer one's, could new rings cyl sleaves & bearings seals be such a large expence? if it where a vor-tec v8 manybe $2000 to totaly rework, could this old mercedes motor last 15 more years if repaired, my 98 isuzu 4cyl fuel injection could not even make 70,000 miles it's dead and will cost $1500 to repair, no quality in that one, and only around 20 MPG , I feel the auto makers of some models really didn't plan on their machines lasting as well as they should have, as a good friend of many years once told me about bourbon whiskey, he stated it was made to sell and not to drink, a good point made ,as many cars could be made to sell but don't expect to drive them very long, aren't the older a little cheaper for parts, due to the low amount of Tec-and electro trash , like on newer models,?

I want to purchase a car in the 30-35K range. I've driven the Acura TL, BMW 325i and Infiniti M35. I liked the Infiniti best, but it ended up being out of my price range. I also like the Chrysler 300C and new Dodge Charger. I don't really care if it is a sedan or a coupe, and would buy used to get the right car in my price range. I tend to like cars with "gadgets," and either sports packages or ground effects. What are your thoughts?

I want to own my own small plane (at least a single engine, two seater aircraft). Used planes also acceptable to me. Is there anyway I can achieve the same here in India? Does the govt. have any red tape around, which have to be overcome? How can I fulfill my dream? What is the total cost which I may have to shell out? Do the banks help in this????
