It's coming, ready or not. I just pray the accountants have left it alone. Can you imagine anything more sad than a six cylinder, front wheel drive Camaro with eight cup holders, a map light, OnStar and a top speed of 79 mph? I would rather it stay dead than see this happen. (and don't think it can't -- this is the same company that builds the Malibu...yuk!)

Personally, I don't know if they could bring it back properly. GM is in a position that will take some finesse to get them out of. But all the American automakers are in the same spot. I think General Motors, Chrysler (before the merger, that was the only way they got the second chance), and Ford have under-estimated the foreign automakers badly. They should have taken a page from the Toyota/Honda success book and made notes. But I have noticed that makers like Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, and a lot of the Korean makers like Hyundai, Kia, and the defunct Deawoo have been struggling a bit too. It is a tough market that will change at the drop of a hat and if your not paying attention, then you will get left in the dust.

Of coarse they will bring it back, They seen what the Mustang did, and what the Charger (if you can call it a charger) will be doing. I have seen pics of it as a TA and to tell ya the truth, that would be the way to go. It was all done up in the TA white and blue. I just hope that they do this way the challanger will come out and they will decide to put the Cuda under Chrysler. Now that is one nice looking auto. As far as the Camaro. Yes they will bring it back, but it will loss alot of the cues that will make it a good looking auto. Them dam Aussies don't know how we americans love our pony cars......

I like the camaro but I just dont think the new one will look all that great in real life. Look at it and think about it being on the road. It just doesn't work for me. Maybe it could be some kind of a movie car.

I had three camaro's, the last i was always in the shop - something was always wrong with it - and it was a new car.
I'm glad I sold it, because you can not get the parts anymore.
If they bring it back, I hope they build a good one! It's a day late and a dollar short for me to buy another one. I love my new camry. Hope the camaro work's for GM, the US is not doing well with their cars.

It's too late for them. Like their slogan says.
"Like a Rock" they are sinking and they need to find something that will boost sales more than just what the Camaro will do.

I really like the last Camaro made, I think that the new one looks horrible and is going to be a mistake--I don't think they should release it.

Bring it back for sure! It definately can't hurt them any. GM needs more rear wheel drive performance coupes in their lineup to stay competitive with other manufacturers, and as crazy and huge as the "retro" craze is now, bring it on!
