1500cc with S$300 monthly, probably you can only get a COE car which left about 5 years plus COE. Such as Mit Lancer 1.3, Suzuki Swift 1.0, Nissan Sunny 1.5 and etc. There are many units at Kaki Bukit "Automobile Megamart".

In my personal opinion, may I suggest that buying a car in that range would be dangerous. Especially for Perodua. Proton Group has been as I was told that they have the highest accidents fatalities in the entire Malaysia as compared to ALL foreign brand cars put together due to the lack of safety features.

1) No side impact beams
2) traction conrol poor
3) subject to skid
4) No airbags
5) quality of steel - substandard
etc etc.

This is a very very personal opinion.

You see, you may be a safe driver, but can you also be sure of the others out there??

This is strictly a personal opinion and has no intention of malice and neither are they supported (i do not want to be sued lah)

If you only have 300 bucks a month to spare, I suggest you forget about a car, and work harder first..
