If you are receiving donations via paypal, do you report these to the IRS? If so, what do you report it as? Income? I was on SaveKaryn's original website and she said that she would report her donations to the IRS as income?

I thought that donations were considered tax free.

I rang them up and they said I need to only declare the interest earned from my inheritance. But after reading the notes that came with my renewal pack I think it says that I need to declare money recieved from an administrator, however I am the administrator! Does this mean if the money changes hands to a second person? or when it's paid to me?

At the same time I have read a story in some English language study book about homeless young Englishmen, who somehow became homeless and they were desperate to improve their lives, they couldn't get any job to pay for the food and accommodation knowing the English language as a mother tongue. How is it possible, when so many foreigners come to the UK to find some work with rather poor knowledge of English and at the same time native British men are homeless?
