Supposing you won top prize over 1 million S$, will they give you the full amount as published in the winning prizes' amount or they tax you upfront? How much is the tax?

Hi there,
I'm a US Green Card holder and considering an opportunity in Singapore. Is it true that I will need to pay Singapore taxes ~ 20% as well as US taxes ~ 40% less an 80 grand deduction off my my gross income? Is that the price of hanging on to my Green Card or does the same global tax also apply for US citizens? Thanks a lot.

some service providers in singapore like hotels, collect 1% cess on top of 5% GST (goods and services tax) and 10% service charge.

what is this cess? and where does the 1% go to?

how does it differ from GST?
