What if you turn yourself in?? Will the IRS go easier on you with the punishment??

If you're refering to your previous post, the IRS already has all the information that they need to prosecute your friend. Your information won't be of any value to them and you will not be compensated for it.

If you're the guilty party, consult with an attorney first. The IRS will generally go easier on you if you come to them but it depends upon the circumstances of your case.
