I visited a WalMart for about the 10th time in my nearly 40 years of life. Although I was not a patron - I wonder what that store chain does NOT chain? All these small businesses blame this store. I can see why. It seems like you can buy everything at WalMart. i want to know what you CAN'T buy at Walmart. List some tangible items please!

I am currently only 18, going on 19. I work at BestBuy, and had wanted to work in the Geek Squad. Anyways I just saw a video about how all the big companies rip people off and don't really know what they are doing when it comes to fixing computers.
The video is here : http://tinyurl.com/2d6xx
Anyways, I want to own my own business when I grow up, so I was wondering what is needed to start your own legitimate business for this kind of work. What kind of things do I have to go tru with the state and stuff? I live in Ohio.

I am currently waiting for a USPS job. They're checking on my license and driving records which could take another week or two, plus I need to pass a physical. I will be a rural carrier.

I received a call today from my local school for a lunch substitute position. The pay isn't much but the schedule is more suited for me because I have a young girl. This is a position through my state.

However both positions could lead to full time after a year of employment.

I don't really like cold weather in the winter but I like the money with USPS, which will require me to be away from my family overnight elsewhere. Who will watch my kids overnight when my husband won't be available? Also I don't have the right vehicle to do mail delivery, and I'm a petite person.

So should I take the job with less pay and suitable hours or the outside job with higher pay?

I would like to start a small (home-based) business custom-building models/replicas based on a character from a popular TV series. Can anyone recommend the proper procedures required that would ensure that ALL copyrights are respected? Do I contact the studio involved in making the series to get their permission? Should I hire an attorney for this?
ANY info or advice would be greatly appreciated!
(p.s. I plan to offer my custom-made models within a specially-designed glass case. Can anyone ALSO recommend a company I can contact to build these cases for me??)

It seems that there are a lot less people peddling their MLM businesses on yahoo answers these days. I am just curious if everyone else sees this as well and why you think this is?

My feeling is that when yahoo answers came out all these MLMers saw this as a great opportunity to try to get new recruits, but as they realized like in every other way that MLM just is not set up to work, their enthusiasm for being here has fizzled.

I am sure Robert Kiyosaki will write another book mentioning MLM that will get their enthusiasm back and make him another million bucks selling books.

I have an uncle who owns and runs a local gift shop. They sell gifts and collectibles, have a wedding registry, among other things. He is wanting to establish a presence online. The Web site would eventually be a full-fledged retail outlet for the store. I have thought that perhaps starting out on eBay would be a good thing to do. However, I am no expert on starting online retail store fronts.

Any information you can give would be greatly appreciated.

If I am offered this job then I will not be able to give any notice. I work in a small office and they count on me. I feel really bad about it but I really need a new job....better pay and all. Plus I am not able to move up in the company I currently work for. My boss is a little bit of a hot head. How do I tell him without making him upset and everyone else I work with as well?

How can you tell if someone is a fraud or not? he has positive
ratings and has sold and bought many things on ebay. I just don't see how someone can sell a brand NEW ipod nano with a starting bid at .99 cents. Seems a little suspicious. any thoughts?
