Does anyone know of any? Like on Brady Street and stuff?

I'm looking for more punk/emo/scene/goth/vintage stuff that I can easily change into DIY outfits.

Thanks!

Holy CRAP have you lucked out.

I actually created a database of resale stores.

I will dig it up and get back to you.

Here are three - I only listed those that are likely to meet your criteria. Annie's is right in the neighborhood you're looking for. Granny's isn't real goth or vintage but they carry lots of younger stuff. Ivana's Trunk doesn't have much in the way of clothes but they've got the vintage stuff.

I think there is at least one other place on the east side, but I don't do vintage so I didn't put it in my database. Just dig out the yellow pages and look under thrift, resale, consignment and secondhand. You'll find these and tons of other stores like Good Will and Salvation Army.

You might also consider Victor Victoria - it's not strictly resale but they have vintage-looking stuff.

Several have closed down, but check the phone book, in the yellow pages.

There's a very large Goodwill store on 91st just south of Mill Road, and another just a block south of Capital Drive about where the Outpost Health Food store is (the other side of Aldi's). Brady Street had a big turnover of those little shops, but there's still some stores left. Try going north on Prospect too, up around North Avenue I think there's still two small places up there. But east side is your best bet---actually if you go into Beans and Barley and ask the sales staff there, they can clue you in to the best places in their area, they're all locals. Goth sort of died down somewhat from 10 years ago, but it's still hanging in there on the east side.
