If you have a sole proprietor business:

Are you liable if a chef in your restaurant was being careless and accidentally put something in the food, and the customer got sick?

But it doesn't show up. If I go to my ebay, I can see it there, but when I type in the item name as an ebay search, my item doesn't come up. What is the problem?

Here is the item URL http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=320165309384&Category=617&_trksid=p3907.m29

See if you can find by searching for it. I can't. What is the problem?

Looking for business professionals, marketing experts or online shoppers!

I've just established an online store at www.intriqate.com. I have thousands of visitors to my website over the weeks but zero sales!

What can I do to improve my website? What do you look for or what attracts you when shopping online?

Hello,
Im 16 and I own a small audio retail business in IL, USA. I feel like im very diferent from many kids. In a way i fake myself to seem ordinary to many of my friends, so i can still have a good time on weekends and stuff with my friends. But the truth is that im very interested in business and i have had many good as well as bad times in it. I wouldnt say im rich, but for a kid i think i have done very well, i havent made a significant amount, sales close to around $10k last year. But im proud of it, i dont show off and tell my friends about this, i like to keep humble and keep most of this to myself. My parents have money saved for my coledge education, But i have huge ideas, i want to invest the money i saved pluss my parents money and purchase a franchiese. Saving my profits id like to expand and buy other locations and one day using my profits establish a high-end Speaker/Audio product brand. Im very dedicated to my work and i would like to hear what people think.

Thanks!

I have been reading the archives in Yahoo answers and I see that about half support MLM programs and about half don't. If you can help me, what do you think of this opportunity www.dolphincommunications.net. I am seriously looking for feedback on this specific program not just the opinions of the subject in general. Thanks.

I own a small business and would like to donate a gift basket for a fundraiser at my child's school. My question is, when a business donates something or sponsers something, what is the proper thing to do as far as getting your business name mentioned? I mean, should I attach a business card to the basket, or is that considered kind of tacky? I really don't know. Any small business owners out there who have participated in such things, please advise!

Here is what I'm thinking. I contact a manufacturer, lets say for example a knife maker who makes many types of knives for commercial (restaurants) and for the home. I tell them I want to be their salesman for my area and to send me samples, price lists, order forms, etc. They don't have anything to lose and I don't have anything to lose by going to different restaurants and showing them what I have. If I get an order, fine, if not, I'm not out anything. I could do this with many products, even un-related products. Like I said, the companies wouldn't lose anything and I wouldn't lose anything. And on the plus side they would have someone actively trying to sell their products. So a win-win situation. I know some of you are going to trash my idea but I've come to learn some people get their jollies that way. LOL

My daughter went to a friends house this weekend and told me that they have a mini department store in their house. They basically buy and sell stuff on eBay. Or possibly just sell it on eBay, but either way they seem to buy in bulk and sell it on eBay. How does the average person do this...where are they buying all this high end stuff? And of course, most importantly , is it legal?

I am seeking a GENUINE work-from-home typing job. I know there are a lot of scams out there, and it is difficult sorting the wheat from the chafe. So does anybody know a GENUINE company I can apply to for typing and data entry work? I am not asking to earn thousands (although it would be nice!), but just a steady income sufficient to enable me to sign off the doles.

I live in the UK and am fully experienced in Microsoft Office.
