My daughter went to a friends house this weekend and told me that they have a mini department store in their house. They basically buy and sell stuff on eBay. Or possibly just sell it on eBay, but either way they seem to buy in bulk and sell it on eBay. How does the average person do this...where are they buying all this high end stuff? And of course, most importantly , is it legal?

Well if its high end stuff they probably get it wholesale, meaning they have a business license, and/or a Tax ID number. But many people buy stuff from garage sales, or auctions and stuff like that then resell it on Ebay.
Yes it is legal, some people actually make a living selling on Ebay.
