The only legit ones that I know of are transcription jobs. For those most of the time not all, the companies want you to have experience. However if you don't you can still get in, as long as you past the test requirements and are a fast typer. You can go to www.wahm.com (message boards) and look in the transcription folder for more information and for companies that hire independent contractors.

However, if this is something that you are really into, you should market yourself on sites like craigslist.org, backpage.com and other popular local classifieds because many companies and good start ups need network marketing associates. You can set your own rate per post or per ad listed and work for yourself marketing these companies in forums, free classified ads, myspace and so on. However if you'd like some phone jobs from home I'll give you a list below. And some resources.

There are so many companies that allow you to work from home. SOOOO many. And from your question you may get skeptics or businesses which is not what you asked about. You asked about a JOB. But you really just have to search. I'm going to provide about 27-35 here. I honestly charge for my services though cause this is how I keep food on the table and it's what I do all day long. But here they are, if you have no luck and you still need help email me at tinalynnlove@hushmail.com

And even though I don't do this for FREE, there are all sorts of websites that can help you along. www.wahm.com (message board, telecommuting folder), www.ratracerebellion.com (on the right there are tons of categories with companies that hire workers from home ongoing and daily job leads, www. workplacelikehome.com (must register but once you do go on the message board in telecommuting folder and there are all sorts of jobs and help), www.mommyessentials.com is another excellent resources. Just look at the top where the leads and companies are. Huge listing as well. And also www.onestopwebemployment.com is also a great resource. Email me if you need additional help.

Also you know I sell used used books on Amazon, it's easy and you can get started right away. I even go to local thrift stores and buy books that are in good condition for like .50 or $1.00 and will sell it for like 9-10 dollars on up. You won't get rich but it's a few bucks.

There are very few legitimate data entry companies. The ones I do know of have a waiting list of 1-2 years! Sometimes you can find data entry work from home on craigslist but you have to sort through all the scam companies and it can take months or years to find a legitmate one.

One option is sign up for guru.com and bid on data entry jobs...however, you will have to bid low to land a project!

Another option is contact businesses in your area and offer your services. This is not an easy way but know a couple of ladies that were successful in doing this but it took them lots of hard work.

You and a lot of other people would like to work from home - this same question gets posted multiple times a day. There are very few legit data entry online jobs, and the ones that do exist you don't find on the Internet, it would be for a company who hires you directly. The ones you'll find on the Internet are scams.
