The lady that signed me up was very uninformative. I feel overwhelmed with questions i couldn't think to ask and she's not contacting me until saturday to check on me. I feel like she threw a book or two at me and said, ok run a business.. Is there anyone here who sells Avon and would be a mentor/guide for me till i can kinda get the hang of it?

I know alot about the product itself, what i know little about is the ordering itself, and how i recieve my commisions for people who order online from my store and things like that. If you dont have an answer for my question, please dont answer it.

There is soooo much actual paperwork that goes along with this. I want to hear from people who sell it and can offer some guidance for the first time i place my order so i dont screw it up.

Yeah, mine sort of just read the brochure to me and that was it. Just remember, you are not on anyone's clock. In other words, you don't have any minimum sales to make so no one's going to come after you and bug you if you don't make huge sales at any point. You can start slowly and then gradually get the hang of it. Have you gotten yourself registered online yet? I would suggest doing the online training. It is very helpful. You can also go to the community forum after you've registered and post questions and other reps will answer them there as well. You might want to write down all the questions you have so that you can remember them all when your Avon rep calls you on Saturday. There is probably a regional sales rep who will be more of a help than this lady was. I felt the same way you did.

You can call the Avon HQ or go through their website for information. I sold it for a while as a younger person and made some money - not enough to be worth the hassle. People don't want to buy from a book these days - especially when you can order right from Avon's website.

Read the information you were given first, make a list of the questions you have, and contact the lady that signed you. If that doesn't work, go on the Avon website and look for another rep in your area. That way you can meet someone face to face and ask the questions.

U need to cancel that deal as soon as possible. If the person that signed you up, is not helping you or informative, then why would you want them to be your support line? You need to get into a business that you can be trained on and make some real money. Try the site below and watch the movie.

Doesn't Avon kind of sell itself? Really, you go through a catalog and see what you like and buy it to help out a friend.

Why did you sign up for something you know little about?
