Do they simply average your credit scores to figure out what kind of interest rate you will get? Or do they put more emphasis on the higher score?

I have heard people say both.

I have recently found the place that I am desperatly seeking on moving to. It is Wyoming. It is so beautiful there. The only problem is that I can't find any place to go to that will show me some houses for rent anywhere out there. Does any one know of a website to go to so I can see pics of rental houses or find places to rent? Also, have you ever been or lived anywhere in Wyoming and if so what was your experience like?

If I am the director of a corporation, that is really only owned by me, and my company is doing well (just like the housing market in my area) - can the corporation purchase a house for me to live in? The reason is that the corporation makes more money than I do, and I'd rather use that money to purchase a home and leave my disposable income to do other things with. I'm asking specifically of doing this in Canada.

I am looking at to buy my first home at the $100K to $120K range. I will not have the 20% down so I will have to pay PMI. About how much will my total payment (tax, insurance, pmi, and payement) be a month? Taxes are about 1000 a year and insurance is not to high (like in FL or other coastal parts) - I'm in Oklahoma.

I'm renting a property in joint tenancy with another student. We found ants in the kitchen yesterday... A lot. We've been here for like 6 months now and not had a problem but since it's so early I'm worried it will only get worse... Ant powder can only do so much lol. Hypothetically, if we needed an exterminator, who woud foot the bill; us tenants or the landlady?

Thanks

My husband and I are wanting to buy our first home.

We know there are government programs and loan programs out there for first-time buyers.

We have NO idea where to start, though. Do we need to try to pre-approve for a loan to even find out what kind of ballpark price we should be looking at? Should we call a mortgage company, or a real estate agent?

Help. I am at the mercy of those who are more experienced than myself. :-)

My fiance and I are getting married in September. But since the market is so great for first time home buyers in Michigan we are also semi-actively looking to buy a house. We don't have the kind of cash for a downpayment or closing costs, since it's all in the wedding fund. Should we just wait, or is there assistance that we could find?

Mortgage interest is tax-deductible and I heard so is PMI (private mortgage insurance), does that mean you get that money back or that it is money that isn't taxed? I have a 1200$ mortgage with a 150$ PMI cost per month. Can someone break this down?-thanks

Purchased home 2005, nothing went well during this process. After 3 months in the house, roof was leaking, basement started showing cracks in the walls, leaks into the basement thru the walls and windows. Aug 2006, hired building engineer to give structural inspection. He found many issues of nondisclosure. 8/06 hired good attorney. Filed non disclosure against seller. Seller hires attorney in same building as my attorney. My inspectors find 45,000 dollars in damages. Her inspector says we are the cause of the damages. We are going to mediation next week. What am I to do? I am not sure whats going on and my attorney never answers any of my questions.
