What are your options when you cant no longer afford your mortgage payments. How long before they try to take your home. Can we work out a deal with them? and usually what does this entail? Thanks in advance!

I think this condo fee includes water and trash but not property tax. When I asked the owner what they included he said everything. Then later mentioned you have to pay your own property tax and maintenace. What do condo fees usually include? Do condos go up in value like homes normally or down?
Thanks!

I'm thinkin' about buyin' this lot here in Oklahoma and it's a Zone C-2 and I was wondering if it was for residential or business use? And if it's used for residential, would I still be available to use it for a residents too? Like havin' the bottom floor for business, and the top floor for livin'. Any help would be great.

Okay. I'm moving to this new area. The only reason we are moving there is to move near my pawpaw's house. We would build a totally larger house next door. Swimming pool and everything. No one else in that area has one. Our house would be the only new house in that area. But then again, about a mile away are all these really expensive houses like ours wouls be. I think I'd rather move there to fit in with our houses large size. Even though my house would be large, would I look poor living in that area??

My fiancee' mother passed last month and left everything to him, a house that is paid for, and we are currently renting.
I LOVE the town and the house we are renting, but, understand that we could save alot of money if we lived in the house she left him, but, I don't like the town and feel funny living there, should we contact a realtor and have it rented out and pay our rent that way until we decide what to do down the road someday?

Hi, last June when I moved into the apartment I currently moved out of, they had a television in the common area that didn't work, yet were paying for cable television. I offered to pick up a TV, a TV I paid for with my own credit card and brought home and set up myself. The price of the TV was split 4 ways, 3 roommates and myself. One of the roommates left in September. One of the others is leaving in the next 6 months, and she stated she just assumed that the TV would stay in the house. Seeing as I procured the television, and paid interest on it, I would think I would have some sort of claim over it. Buying out the two of them what they paid doesn't make much sense to me, if I were to do so, and then turn around and sell the television, I doubt I'd even get back what I paid them. Now my question is, who has ownership of the television, and specifically, what do I need to do to get it back?

I understand that if the owner lives in a four family house, 25% of the interest is shown as a deduction on Schedule A and 75% is shown as an expense on Schedule E.

However, exactly how does this benefit the owner? Lets assume the owner paid $500 over the course of the year in taxes and paid $100 in mortgage insurance.

Thanks!!

I currently rent an apartment with my mother and brother. Our landlords harass us practically everyday and have even done the unthinkable, but they feel like we are the ones causing problems. Today they said that they wanted us out. My question is: Is my mother obligated to pay rent even if the landlords have told us to leave?? I am very thankful for any help I can get, Thank you and God Bless.
