Renting & Real Estate - January 2007

My parents are looking to buy a house, but they don't have good credit to where they can get a loan from someone, and of course can't get someone to co-sign. Does anyone have any suggestions for them?

Do you think that an apartment would allow me to pay upfront 6 months rent, on a 6 month lease? I am planning to move out of state in July, and quit my current job of 17 years. I will have all the means to support myself and plan to find a new job right when I get there. The only thing is finding an apartment that will lease to me without a current job. I dont see why they wouldnt allow me to do that right?

I just found out today my landlord has not paid his mortgage for over 5 months, and owes over 89K on it. A notice of trustee's sale paper was taped on our door this afternoon, saying the home will be auctioned off Feb. 2.... So I was wondering what rights do I have as a renting occupant? What should we do?

I have been looking for a $100,000 mortgage to buy a house and pay off some bills. I have put in a couple of applications and I am not getting any positive responses. I have no idea what i could be doing wrong. surley its not my credit because I know people who have filed for bankrupcy and still been able to buy houses. i am helping a friend out looking for a place to live... he can only spend $600 a month can i cant find any places.

I am a landlord and my tenant has been habitually late with his rent (5 times late, 3 times returned check) out of 9 months. Is this grounds for me to not renew his lease at the end of the term? If so, how much notice do I give? If he doesn't leave, then what?

Hi,
I am selling a development of 140 homes in the Caribbean to Irish and UK clients thru different agencies.
I am living in the U.S. and would now like to sell directly to our American end clients.Since we are selling a development we aren't building ourselves, do we require a license anyway or are we ok?
Does anybody have any tips where to locate agencies to work with here in the US?
