She doesn't believe in checks and money orders. Just wrinkled up cash. It takes up too much of my time to have to count it. I could get more rent out of a new younger tenant.

What happens to money left over from repossessed properties after the debts have been paid. Is the property auctioned well above the recoverable debt or would a property be sold for the exact amount of debt owed.In this case the property had no mortgage and the repossession was for unpaid ground rent. Does the extra money if any go to the land owner or to the treasury?(U.K)

My family might be looking for a bigger apartment- only problem is my husband plays the drums for about an hour a day. What & when do you tell the landlord? Do you keep it a secret until you move in or tell them straight out & risk not getting the apartment?

It's the middle of January in the Northeast and I cannot dig a hole in the ground. Will it be okay if I put some soil in a flower pot and put it in the yard? Any one have any insight on this?

my lease is up - the management issued an offer in writing. when we went to sign the docs it was not the same as the written offer, stating increase due to pet rent. they were previously advised of our pet - I've been paying for her rent for over 2 years and they were aware of the pet when we moved in. do we have to pay the amount on the contract or is management stuck w/their written offer since it did not mention that there would be a price difference on the initial offer letter. - CA resident. - thanks

strangely, it seems that different real estate agents have different ideas about what the term "due diligence" applies to. it is different than a home inspection. i am asking this to simply get the different definitions from different Realtors. the way i use it is for very specific situations, particularly with commercial real estate sales. thanks, i'd like to hear what you think.

I am looking at a half acre lot for sale at $30,000

I have heard that getting financing for a lot is more involved than with a home mortage. I currently have a mortgage on a home. It is appraised at $56000 and I owe $39000 on the mortgage. My credit is around 630

Granted there are alot of variables and such, but in general, is it likely that I can get an opportunity to finance the property with minimal down, or is it a general principal that lots require a large down payment regardless of anything to secure the loan?

I found a half acre lot in an established neighborhood that has my interest. It is one of the last lots for sale in that subdivision.

Should I get a personal realtor to work with the realty company selling the property, or am I ok to negotiate directly?

What are some good things to do or check before purchasing?

Your advice is greatly appreciated!

I am 23 years old and I just started my first job about 6 months ago. I make 40,000 year and I have 23,000 dollars in the bank right now. I am trying to decide how much i should use for my downpayment, and how much I should keep in the bank for an emergency fund. After I buy the house my total monthly expenses will be around 1700 including mortgage, bills, utilities, groceries, gas, car payment....everything. How many months worth of savings should I keep in my emergency fund, and how much should I use for my downpayment. House is around 115,000.

Thanks.

The agent said she was very interested in the property for herson or to rent out and requested the agent to get a vauation of what it would be worth to rent. She wants to show her husband throughThey didn't buy the house last time because there was somuch to do but we spent thousands renovating.
