Have a look on http://southampton.gumtree.com/ this is a pretty good source of private landlord letting properties in the area alternative could try Leaders www.leaders.co.uk these are one of the better lettings companies, who cover the areas you are interested in.

Try LEADERS in eastleigh. they are a lovely letting agents with loads of properties on the new Park 21 estate.
Prices are good, about £725 for a 2 bedroom place, service is excellent and the estate is shiny and new and oh so quiet. I very nearly moved there myself but was offered a promotion at work and stayed in basingstoke as i don't drive, the bloke was gutted as he loved it there and he was only 20Min's away from his work in romsey.
