I told my husband that I had been keeping a considerable amount of credit card debt from him. I was trying to pay it off on my own because it was my responsibility and I was scared to tell him because I didn't want him to think I was irresponsible (which I obviously was anyway). Now that I have come clean, we have agreed that he would take charge of the finances and bills, which I am fine with. We both are saving receipts from everything and putting them into an excel spreadsheet, so I am forced to be accountable for all my expenses. We took out a loan to pay for our debt. When I told him about my debt, I felt like a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders, but now, I feel depressed all the time. I feel so guilty about ruining his finances and not being honest with him. He has told me that he won't ever forget what I've done, but we will work through it. But he definitely still gets mad at me for it and I feel like I deserve everything bad that happens to me for doing this..

Where can I find non-performing loans

Most of the things that I want are much cheaper online and is basically more convient for me. Anyways, I'm 14. Do you think that I'm too young for a debit card? My mom told me that you pay monthly bills on a debit card. Is that true? I thought that you just pay for the debit card and you can just put any amount of money on there and stuff like that. Oh, and here's another question; When you buy something offline, don't you just type in the numbers on the debit card as if it was a credit card? I want to buy something off ebay. Is that safe. I know that anybody can scam you on any site, but I asking for the most part is it safe. One last thing. Can you do me a favor and find a company or whatever that only charges a one time fee and allows me to withdraw money and deposit money?( I barely know what I'm talking about. Hopefully you know what I am trying to say.)? Maybe this is some relevant information. I do have a bank account. It's a kid's bank account. Well, thanks for the help!! :)

I have 5 years of service with my company and I am fully vested. How is an easy way to calculate what my pension would be when I turn 50? I am currently 30 years of age and would be able to draw on my pension in 20 years when I turn 50? I've asked my benefits office to calculate this for me but they have told me it will be about a week to get the info back to me. Just wondering if anyone could help me figure this out. Any help would be appreciated.

Is it possible for someone to borrow money and not pay it back... but still have good intentions? This girl used me on about $1500 and didn't pay me back for a long time until I had to pretty much call her a user and tell her shes taking advantage of me before she started paying. Now the relationship is really bad. Why should it take that much drama to get money back? Anyone have similar stories?

Are they really bad people or do they just need some help with money management? Anyone have any cases like this?

I'm asking this on behalf of my mom. My father and her divorced. For whatever reason she got to keep the Boat, but my dad had a loan out on it- that he took to pay off some credit card bills. Well now that he is remarried and other stuff- he and his current wife are out to get my mom any way they can- so they haven't been paying the boat loan and now today the repo guy showed up saying his work order showed that my mom had volunatirly called and said they could come take the boat. My mom told the guy she was sorry- but that she never called and the guy left. Obviously my mom doesnt care if my dad f***s his credit up getting it repo'd.. but he left the boat with her for us kids to use and knows hes doing it to be a dick and be mean to her.. What can she do? And what rights do repo men have if they come to your house?

Hello everyone I'm facing a cash vs debt dilema. I would like to purchase a car worth $100,000. My father is willing to give me $50,000 upfront to buy the car leaving me to take a loan for the remaining $50,000. I personally think $50,000 of my own money (or rather dad's) is too much to put out and think this doesn't make much financial sense. I'm currently weighing the option of taking a full loan for $100,000 over a 6yr term and keeping the $50,000 from my dad and investing it. Here are my 2 Options, which one is the better option:

OPTION 1: LOAN FULL AMOUNT ($100,000)

1) $100,000 Loan -12% APY Monthly Payment= $1995.02

-Total Interest over 6yrs= $40,761

- Total Repayment=$100,000 + $40, 761 Interest = $140, 761

However If I keep the $50,000 and invest it in a MMA at 5.5% (compounded monthly)I earn a total of $69,495.99 which can be used to offset the amount of the loan. Thereofre at the end of 6yrs:

In May of this year I paid all my bills as normal. Well, the money that I used to pay has not yet (nearly 5 months later) come out of my checking accounts. The payments I have made with the months afterward have all come out, except for the credit card I have through my bank. On that one it seems that for the months of May and June, and August they have not come out. Has this happened to anyone else? Would it be safe to now (again, nearly 5 months later) add that money back into my check book, since it has not come out? I don't want to call the companies to ask about the problem, because frankly I don't want them to notice if they haven't already. What would be the best thing for me to do at this point?

Can anyone please help? After a recent conference, I was refunded my travel expenses. The refund was made to my bank account however I have been contacted saying that the payment was made twice in error and that there will be a payment recall. How does this actually work at my bank? Surely they cannot just refund them without my authorisation? I never realised that the payment had been made twice and I don't have the funds available to pay it back at the moment. Where do I stand? Thanks in advance!

What do you think would be better. My husband and i have $8700 in CC and Line of credit debt. WE want a lower payment than the $400 we are paying.

A)Keep paying $400 month on CC’s & Line & use taxes to pay them off.

B)Get $8700 Low Int. Loan pay off CC’s & Line & use taxes, at least $5000, 2 fix basement. Loan pmt $285

C)2 loans totaling $10,000 pay off CC’s & Line use remaining ($1300) to fix basement. Pmt total $378. Use taxes to pay off 1 loan ($2000) have at least $3000 left from taxes & pmt after that is $225

Additional Info.
We had a flood a couple years ago and our basement was finished we had to gut it and have wanted to have fix it ever since.
