when you don't even owe the bill. She says she is with a law firm and won't shut up long enough to hear what you say to her and swears she will call every day until she gets the money.
She called a month ago claiming $ due to one store and now is claiming $$$ due to a store that we simply would never buy from. No mail, no bills, just this aggressive woman caller. Ever?

on your behalf (i.e. $500K) into an interest bearing retirement account. Then, you make long-term monthly payments on that original amount to the bank (kinda like a mortgage). Meanwhile, the original sum grows with compound interest on your behalf.

Does anyone know anything about this?

My adult daughter hasn't lived with us for more than 10 years, and whatever bill they are calling about has to be at LEAST that old. I tell them she hasn't lived here in 10 years and because I won't tell them where she is NOW they call and harrass me constantly. They are nasty and rude and insulting. How do these bill collectors try to collect on a debt that is more than 10 years old anyway? Is there something you can do to make them stop calling you if someone TRULY doesnt live at your address any more? By the way I live in Massachusetts if that is relevant.

I bought an item on Ebay from Canada. In his description he says if your going to use a money order from outside the country. To make sure its the pink kind...I went ahead and bought a Western Union money order and they said that this was the only kind they had...It just yellow and black like all other money orders I've purchased. Should I take this one back and try buying "the pink kind" somewhere else?

I have a father who is financially irresponsible. The guy has scammed his way through life and left hundreds of unpaid bills, loans, etc. He has no health or life insurance and I assume I'll be stuck with his funeral expenses as his only child. I've spoken with him about it and he doesn't seem willing to do anything to solve the problem. When he dies, I'll pay for the funeral, but how can I protect myself from being stuck with all of his debts?

Was it worth it? Did you learn anything that you put to use? Is it all just common sense that you pay $200 to re-hash? Would you recommend it to a friend? Do you agree with his principles?

Please...only answer if you're familiar with his program or have gone through it.

I moved to another state, and my mail was not forwarded due to a clerical error. I called the bank, but don't have the last statement. I contacted my job in NJ, and asked them to send a copy of my last paycheck. The only reason I am not certain of the dollar amount is that included with my pay is benefit time as well. I feel foolish, but I really need to balance this checkbook. Do I need to go in person?

I have a poor credit history due to alot of late payments from my student years. Why cant a get a current account? I have no debts and dont owe anyone any money. I dont want to borrow any money. I dont want a overdraft or any type of credit. I have looked at basic bank accounts and they are very poor value for money and offer none of the facilities that you get with a current account. I find it better putting the money in a savings account rather than a basic bank account. But i would really like a current account to improve my finances. How would i get one.
