i receive ss due to my husbands passing in 2005. i am considering selling my house but i know i can make $12,900 per year. will the profit of my house count as income?

No. One has nothing to do with the other. They are separate issues.
Your husband earned his ss entitlement and it is yours as his beneficiary.
The profit on your house will only be an issue when you file your income taxes the following year.

no, my mother sold her house and it didn't make any difference in her ss payments.
