My father is 68 and has been accepted for a loan on the condition he has a guarantor. The loan is for a 10 year period. I would willingly be his guarantor, but i dont want to be left with his debt if something happens to him. If my dad died before the loan was repayed would i still be liable? Or am i only liable if he's alive and dont keep up repayments?
Some one please help as I am in a real dilema!

I just turned 22 and I want to rebuild my credit. I got into a bunch of debt (approx 6-8k) when I was 18 and I owe several creditors but I am not sure who all I owe and what the amount is. I have no idea where to start but I am just now starting to save my money to pay this off.

Please help me out I am so lost! :(

My Experian credit score is "Excellent" but my Experian one is "Very Poor". I appreciate different credit companies use them differently but how can they be so different!?

Heres a quick run down. I just got out of college and about $3000 in debt. It went to collections and I have worked hard so I now have enough to pay it off. I'm planning to apply to graduate school so I need to borrow money. I want to improve my credit to be able to borrow a loan. I talked to collections and they agreed to let me pay it off and they will mark it as "paid in full". Should I pay for it then? help..... please... is this is best I can get from them?

Please only serious honest answers.
My husband recently joined the army and we need to get out of debt or atleast make good on what we owe others. Peace of mind and its the right thing to do. We are far behind on our credit card bills and owe about 10,000 dollars. I need to know what would be the best way to take care of this. Debt Consolodation, Call creditors. If I make good on them would this help my husband get a security clearance.
I'm willing to try anything that will work. I understand that my credit score will be low, I just dont want this to be over our heads everyday and I want creditors to stop calling and to show we are paying somehow. Thank you.

I have absolutely no credit history, no phone bills, no car payments, nothing.

The only open accounts on my name are 3 student loans and i do not have to pay any of them until i graduate so i have never made a payment, or missed one.

What should my credit score be around?

I need an RV loan. I would love to get one from a credit union. Do they make you wait for a while after joining to give you a loan?

Thanks!

I'm curious about which Credit Cards (Like Visa, Mastercard, etc...) would allow a teenager to apply with no previous credit history if a parent cosigned.

Thanks.

I recently had a negative charge-off that I paid in full removed from Equifax. I did not dispute this item w/ Trans Union or Experian because I didn't want my score to go way down by disputing items, so i only contacted Equifax. The paid charge-off has been deleted from Equifax and now I think it is only fair that TU and Experian remove this derogitory item as well as I am trying to obtain a mortgage and this is highly affecting my score. Once this got removed, my Equifax score went up over 100 points. If i Dispute this with the other 2 major bureaus, can the colleciton agency come back and say that they won't delete it from the TU and Experian? Why would they remove it from one bureau and not the other 2, can this happen, or since it is deleted from Equifax, the other 2 bureaus have to report the same thing? I don't want to ruin my chances and want to take care of this matter the best way possible. Let me know if anyone has any advice! Thanks!

I got my credit report today and it shows that my total credit amount is $300 and I have $296 available. After further inspection I noticed that only one credit card had reported a credit limit/max balance and that all of my credit cards hadn't been reported since April. Is there an effective way to contact the credit card companies and get them to report accurate and up to date information to the credit bureaus? I feel that this issue is affecting my credit score, so I would like to fix this.

Thanks in advance.

I have applied twice for a credit report like the law says I'm entitled to. I received only a long list of questions wanting to know all kinds of things they have no business knowing. I answered all the required questions on the original application. Is this because I always pay cash and don't believe in credit cards or loans? I feel I'm being discriminated against because I take care of my credit appropriatly. Why can't I get the report?

With just our credit debt (not including our vehicles) we're around 45,000 in total debt. Now I want to consolidate it so I can help my debt to income ratio since it's based on your pay out per month. We're coming up where we need to refinance our house and I need to take care of this issue.

Has anyone been in a similar situation, and if so what company did you use? Thank you!

Im trying to get my credit straight but the house I want isn't going to be for sale for much longer & we need that house. We want to get my best friend to get the loan & then we pay it just like its our house. WHen we get my credit straight & the score higher than we're going to get a loan & buy it, or either refinance it. Can we refinance it in my name after my score is better?

I just got a notice from the credit card company that due to my bad credit they have canceled my card.

I have a high balance in this card. I tried to keep this card in good shape by paying my bills on time for more than 3 years. Now that they have canceled my card, should I continue to pay the balance?

My credit is already in bad shape? Please note that I have another card with them and I am sure they won't renew that one as well.
