I have absolutely no credit history, no phone bills, no car payments, nothing.

The only open accounts on my name are 3 student loans and i do not have to pay any of them until i graduate so i have never made a payment, or missed one.

What should my credit score be around?

Pay no attention to the third poster. Checking and savings accounts have no impact on credit scores.

Reportable credit scores run from 300 to 850.

Anyone who scores below 300 defaults to a 0 score.

From what you have said, your score should be 0.

But due to your student loans, depending on how long they have been on your credit report, it could be as high as 500-550 even though you have never made a payment.

This is due to the way scores are calculated as follows;

1. Payment history 35%
2. Time in bureau 15%
3. Types of credit 10%
4. New credit 10%
5. Debt to credit ratio 30%

Your time in the bureau may give you a score. The only way to know for sure is to have someone pull your credit and check.

You might try your own bank. Most times they will do this for little or no fee.

If you have no credit history you may not have a score at all. Once you get some credit history your score will be low until you have some time to prove how you handle your credit so it will start very low maybe 500 then build over years of good history.

You did not mention bank accounts including checking they also make up part of your credit score in most cases. You probally are in the low 500's but you should check. You can get a free annual report but you must pay separately for your score. Also, it is a good idea to check for identity theft and correct any wrong information that might be part of your credit report.

In order to start building credit history, you need to open some type of revolving credit account (credit card). Otherwise, you will never have a score high enough to qualify you for a good mortgage or car loan rate.

Theoritically, it would be zero if you have never had any accounts in your name and therefore no positive history. At least that's according to Dave Ramsey, a radio personality that counsels people concerning the dangers of debt and credit.
