when you request copies of the reinvestigsted info and the person who vertified the credit file update to the credit bureau's, are the credit bureau's obligated to provide this information..
so what do you do when a credit file contains no change, but they say the vertified and updated the information?

thanks

ted

Our divorce was in CA. I have an attorney. My ex stated he has not worked in a year. He is buying a $550K condo now. I want to prove this all to the Judge. The judge did order copies of front and backs of checks but I know he will not bring them to court. He doesn't care. He barely pays child support.

Is there any way to run a credit report on him?
Can a private eye do this?
Any suggestions?

I was in prison for 2 yrs.My credit card was about 25k, after my release it jump up to more then 50k. Altogether 5 banks. Can I still get a bank to settle all my previous debts. Because to pay one bank is better to pay 5 banks.Save alot of interest. I now earn about 3.5k per mth. I really wants to clear it before they make me bankrupt.

Discover card said as long as merchant has imprint of card they can charge you for several nights and discover card cannot do anything about it, even though you have a signed receipt for only one night. Discover card said my only option is to sue the hotel. If this is true no credit cards are safe to use. Can this really be true??

I used to be really bad with money, and was terrible about paying my bills. I recently got a much better job and have been paying everything off. I only have 1500 left to pay off until I am on top of all my finances. How long will it take me to build back my credit after everythign is paid off? I have had issues renting apartments and stuff in the past. Just wondering, and some advice, NEVEr let yourself get behind on bills! I WAS SO STUPID, and if I had known it would mess me up this much, I really would have never done it. Educate your kids on credit! THANKS!

My sister is divorced and has 3 kids. The divorce decree states that her ex is responsible for all medical expenses for the kids. The other day she got a nasty phone call from the hospital on a $900 bill from emergency room visits from over a year ago that her ex has not paid. They say because she was the one that signed the forms that she is responsible for the money owed, even though according to the law he is the one responsible. Can the hospital do that? What should she do? Her lawyer isn't much help. She lives in the state of Kansas.

This will be on my credit report till 2011: Account charged off/Repossession. $5,303 written off. $2,146 past due. I am ready to call the collection co.
Is it safe to call and talk? Should I give them our new phone number? Paying on it won't really help my score, but it would let us buy a home to settle this. How should I go about attempting to settle? What do I need to know before contacting them?
