Has anyone gotten an unsecured loans with poor credit?

Question

According to equifax i have poor credit even though i have never defaulted on a loan or anything. i do not have a credit card though so i suppose i just dont have much of a credit history. i have an arranged overdraft with my bank with is always paid on time.

Where can i get an unsecured loan of about £10,000

If your score is low simply because you haven't used much credit, your ability to get that loan will be primarily based on your ability to repay the loan. If you have sufficient income and minimal expenses it should not be too much of a problem.

Um, good luck getting a secured loan of that amount, let alone an unsecured loan! With poor credit, I hate to say it, but you're not going to get approved really for any amount. Perhaps you ought to find someone to co-sign with you.

In the states we have institutions called credit unions. I was in a divorce situation and the credit union I belonged to was the only place that would give me a loan.

good day, bad credit is no problem dearie, there are a number of unsecured credit card companies that can help you in that situation. try checking with NHBS, they have an array of credit card programs
