Public records NEVER expire. It will only appear on your credit report for 7 years under most circumstances, but the public records will still exist in the court's files.

Seven years on your credit report.... after that the creditor may renew the judgment for another seven years. It will stay in public records until it is satisfied.

Seven to ten years, depending. If a judgement is open and unsatisfied, such as a tax lein, it has no time limit.
