I recently received a bill from my CPA for $450 for doing my taxes. I am a single W2 filer, and this amount is outrageous. I am not willing to pay the full amount. If he insists on being paid this amount in full, what actions can he take? Would it go to collections, or would he sue me if he were to pursue this? If it does go to collections, can I dispute it due to that fact the bill is so high, and that I had never agreed to this price?

After having the mistakes corrected I am still being denied credit. I thought all the corrections would be viewed on all the credit reporting agencies but the one that keeps denying me credit is Equafax. How can I get this corrected?

I saw an ad once for a 'prepaid credit card'. Sounds just like a debit card to me. Is there really any difference? What's the point?

I have a mortgage on $95k @ 10.99%, my second mortgage is on $25K @ 12.99%. my payments are over $1,200 per month. I only earn about $1500 a month. I care for my handicapped mother. I am not lieing!! If I could find someone to do like a land contract on my property or something I can get myself out of this rut. I do not want a hand out.

I just need someone to help me out. I am willing to sign over property, in lieu of cash to pay off mortgage, which in turn I will pay interest on $ loaned. I need about 2 or 3 years to clear up my credit so I can get a mortgage at decent interest rate.

Please help,
Bryan

I got into a little credit trouble when I was 20. Nothing major, less than $3,000. It took me a while to get it taken care of. I tried for some time to get credit cards and loans and nobody would give me credit. I had to get my first cell phone in my mom's name. 2 years ago I was able to get one in my name and I just got my first credit card in 7 years. How can I build credit? I want to do it right this time and be able to buy a house and a car, or get a small business loan. HELP!!!

I was recently contacted by a company who purchased an old credit card debt. I have spoken to them a couple of times about a settlement, however, my original debt is over four (4) years old, statute of limitations in my home state of Texas is four years. I know I can no longer be sued on this debt. My question is since I have already talked to these people, I have made no payment or signed anything, has this started the statute of limitations over, or can I still let this go.

Will my Credit Rating go down by asking my Credit reports from many agencies like Equifax, Experion, Freecredit report.com etc.?

I am planning to buy a new Honda car and I want to get my own credit reports from various agencies instead of relying on Car dealer credit reports to get better price on car. Can you advice? which credit report i can rely and by taking many reports from various agaencies will effect my credit rating?

We bought a car in September of 2005, and we have a god aweful 22.75% interest rate.
it was a 60 month loan
We currently owe about 7700.00 on the loan

We have sold our house, and im in a position to just pay it off.

Can I haggle down to not pay so much of their interest, or what?

or shoudl i just sock the money aside (we are terrible savers) and auto pay the payments each month, to rebuild our bad credit

Im not sure, but it seems like if i dont just pay it off, im paying them a lot of unnecessary interest

Thanx
