He has worked at Walmart for a year and has a down payment. He drives a junk truck to work every day and needs to buy a car soon. I can co sign, but would rather he do the purchasing on his own. He has no credit history.

I know you have to pay on time and keep the balances low. But Im curious can it be done in a few months or does it take years. Also If you have low balance loans with very low balances, will addition secured loans help your credit score?

i haven't made a minimum payment in 8 mo. they are charging it off, but can will they sue me for it? my credit card limit was 1250 and with fees and interest it's up to about 2200. i don't have a job bc i take care of my son. my husband got laid off and we can barely afford to live. i only own a '92 car that's not worth even 800. if i continue to make payments, can they sue me? we can't afford to pay right now and we certainly can't afford garnishments or court costs. what can i do?

I always pay my husband and my credit card payments on time. However, because both are close to the credit limit, a few times they have gone over the limit by a little bit because of the monthly finance charges. Does this hurt your credit score as much as making a late payment? My husband doesn't seem to think so, but I DO. We just tried to get a loan and they said we had "deliquent payments", however, we have never had a late payment, just gone over the limit. Is it the same thing in creditors eyes??

family, my finace has ok credit mine is just terrible. I only owe 4 thousand but can't afford to pay it back. Whats the best way to rebuild my credit I feel like I'm holding my fiance back. We really need to but a house we feel like renting is a waste. I have a 2 year old and we are expecting another in the fall. I have talked to the credit burio and they said that the least amount of paymeny they would take would be 5o a month, but that just covers interest with rent and everything else I can't afford anymore, I feel stuck, I need help.

I have excellent credit. I belong to a credit union and am currently paying 12.99% on a Visa Platinum card. When I applied for the card several years ago the APR was 9.99%, but it has increased over the past couple of years. I would like to find a lower rate card.

The last 6 months have been hard, and sometimes with no money in the bank, I couldn't make payments on time. Now our situation is much better, but we need to improve our credit badly. Any tips or advice would be appreciated, thanks!

I have a judgement that was filed by a Credit card company in 2003. I just opened a savings account in my name and my grand daughters name to start putting money away for college. Can this be garnished against this judgement and if so is there some other kind of college fund I can do that they cannot touch.

I was going back thru some of my old credit reports to resolve some issues with my newest one.....I saw that I had a bad debt let's say with "Acme Loans" - The open date was August 1997 & they continued to report until 2003 where it was then sold to a collection agency - their open date is 08/2003 - Can I have the credit bureau's delete the collection agency since the original debt began reporting in 1997? Also had another one where the original debt was 02/1998, then sold to a collection agency & their open date was 8/2000 should have fallen off this year....but they then sold to another collection agency in 2005 & their open date is now 9/2005??? Can they do that??
