I have excellent credit. I belong to a credit union and am currently paying 12.99% on a Visa Platinum card. When I applied for the card several years ago the APR was 9.99%, but it has increased over the past couple of years. I would like to find a lower rate card.

currently, citibank and discover are at either 0 percent to start with and 9 percent after that. many banks you belong to will give you 9 percent cards, but miss a payment or late with a payment and it jumps to 31 percent for six months until you make six payments on time then goes back to 9 percent.

obviously the economic corporation stated no because they don't prefer to lose all that interest you'd be paying them. I had a private loan years in the past and that i visit't even undergo in thoughts what the call replaced into yet I transferred the stability to a Chase mastercard with a low APR. i imagine any mastercard will be prepared to personal loan you the money. once you've a form of pamphlets from a mastercard corporation, attempt calling and asking them. save calling diverse agencies until eventually you locate one which matches your needs. i'd also seem into your economic corporation as well for consequences for early payoffs. some banks do, attempt this. reliable success!
