www.capitalone.com Look for the credit card that they offer to people to insufficient credit history.

Sometimes discover offers cards a little easier.

Or, you can contact your bank and ask them if they offer a secured credit card. For this, you will have to deposit money in a CD with the bank, and they will issue a card to you with a limit of that amount.

I got an Orchard Bank card with no credit.

Also, Bank of America gave me a card with a high credit limit and no interest for a year! Not sure why! lol ...

But once I got these cards, I've been very responsible. You have to make your payments on time, etc. Dont want to run your credit any lower than it is!

capital one is really good.

Orchard bank has too many fees. yearly fees, registrations fees, annual somethings. Fees for activations ( exzagerating). But the do have alot of them. & when you donet have much credit and your limit is $300, & your fees pile up to more than $180, its not fair to you.

You'll either have to get someone to co-sign with you or get a secured credit card. Capitol One is supposed to be great to deal with. I like MBNA. ( www.capitolone.com & www.mbna.com )

Stay away from Discover! They're horrible!
