I am not looking for attacking answers, like just quit if you dont like the job, you need to realize when you have a family to support how hard that is. I am looking for a simple yes or no answer.

Is it legal to schedule a person to work 1pm-9pm say Monday and then Tuesday expect them to work 5am-1pm?

5 years ago, I had to leave my Bsc Computer science degree course standing due to some unforeseen circumstances, I had completed 1/2 of the 3 years I was supposed to be there. I can continue at the same point though in September 2007.

However, many years have passed and I feel I don't have the rhythm to get back in. These years have been the worst for me and also in the jobs I've done (Administrator etc not higher). I know deep inside that I can do something other than this, but I am really really stuck, I don’t want to go back to my degree, but then again, I have no where else to go in order to get out of ‘customer services’ or ‘sales’ etc. Can you tell me what I should do now? Maybe a total career change is in order?

Can I have your highest level as well please so that I can compare different answers, thanks a lot – anybody can answer.

I need some ideas for some summer jobs, but the thing is, they have to pay a decent ammount of money, a lil more than min. wage. I have to pay for my rent and for college. I start college in the fall. Like right now I work as a teachers aid. It's fun, but a lil stressful. I really like movies, and music...if that helps at all.

Open to any and all suggestions

I will be 16 years old next month and I need a job. I don't want to work some dumb job at a fast food place. I'm smart, have great grammar skills, and can type accurately at about 70 wpm. Do you think there's a place that would hire a 16-year old where I could use my computer/typing skills??

THANKS

I attend a community college and I will really like to transfer to a great university. The thing is that I am a huge perfectionist and if I feel I can't get an A in the course I drop it.....I do have a few B's mostly A's. But I feel like I dropped too many courses already, which is four. This is my last year and I feel lost in this class and my first test grade was a 40! It was a 50 questions long and a few problems to work out....I only finish the questions, the prob. were half test grade. I only have 2 other test to bring it up. I don't want to end up with a C. I don't have too much time to work on that course either b/c I have 5 other courses I need to dedicate time to also. What should I do?

I have noticed something about Yahoo Answers.
Something I have never been too good at.

I have a tendancy to speak my mind. I tell it like I see it. I am blunt.
Often, people choose the answer that best suits them, whether or not it is true or false. I haved experienced that myself on several occasions. I suppose it could be some sort "Hard-Headed" type problem.

It's like trying to answer the old "How do you like the dress I am wearing." conundrum.

This relates directly to interviews. The same exact thing happens.
They are looking for an answer that best suits them, whether or not it is true or false.

Do you see any similarity between the two?

This thinking has lead me to the following questions:
What "On the spot" answers do you tend to give.
The honest truth, or something they want to hear?
Which, in your opinion, is the better answer?
