Do pharmacists recommend this career?

aughter thinking of beoming a pharmacist. I'd like to know how satified people are with this carer. Is it a glorified shop asistant? What merits does hospital pharmacy hold

I've got a good friend who's a pharmacist, and he loves it. This is something I've actually asked him in the past, his answer - it depends where she'll be working wether she'll end up a shop assistant as well, if she works in a small, local chemist then yes, she probably will.
But if she goes to work for a large store with a dispensary then no she won't.
It's a very good career if she ends up working in the right place.

They make great money (Mean average of $42/hr). Although I know plenty of people with a lot of money who are financially illiterate and consequently essentially own nothing.

Other than that, I know a few pharmaceutical students (who also do intern-type work programs). If I were to stereotype them, I'd say they are happy. I'd also say many consume drugs illegally, but maybe that's just the college life. That's just personal experience, though.
