Careers & Employment - December 2006

What are some good work form home sites THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY UP FRONT. I dont want to pay for a site and realize i do not want to work for them. I dont have a degree but i can do most anything that doesnt need one and is legal of course. Please no crazy answer

Can u tell that for IAS PG is required or not secondly
go for IIM or IAS ..,
actually i want to go in research , but i find IAS or clearing CAT is more in demand .Its not hard and fast rule that i need to go in research i can go for another also .... tell with full details. I am competitive and can do anything.

I LOOKED ON THE INTERNET AND I SEEN LOTS OF CHEEP HOMES THEY SAY THERE IN RUN DOWN NEIGHBORHOOD'S ARE THEY BAD AREA'S WHATS THE COST OF LIVING AND ARE THE PEOPLE FRIENDLY I'AM FROM KY AND I WAS THINK OF INVESTING MY INCOME TAX MONEY ON A FIXER UPPER I HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE AND I HAVE WORKED THE SAME JOB FOR 15 YRS BUT IT A STRUGGLE IN KY I THOUGHT IF I COULD PAY CASH FOR A HOME AND FIND A JOB AND WORK ON FIXING IT UP. I soon going to be a graduate and my mind all of a sudden went blank over this past year due to senioritist. I know MIS Majors has potential to make big cash. I am somewhat of a lazy student , so I do enough to get by. I have no clue where to start. I am good with computers and always been interested but I've lost track I guess. Can someone tell me some steps or something so when I graduate I won't have such a hard time finding something. I tried internships or volunteering but my schedule never works out for that. PLEASE , I don't wanna be a waiter all my life.

I have been at my job for a year now, and I'm getting bored, and it makes it hard to keep it from showing to my superiors. I don't want to get lazy and complacant, but the job isn't enough of a challenge for me. I work better and more efficiently when I'm busy and challenged, and I haven't been in awhile so I tend to get careless and bored. Can anyone sugest anything to help?

About 6 months ago there was a major change in my life, and now my job is my life, and my personal life took a back seat. I now have a young baby and a wife happy with her work. I hate my job, and it really has become my life. How do I get back to where I was where my life was what I focused on, not my career. I started my first "career" a few weeks after my baby was born, but since then, my job was too important, and I don't like what I do. I am still in college and I have a few weeks to change my major, should I find a new career, and if you think so, how do I find out what I'm really meant to do?

At my work, I have been told that they are bringing in a more experienced person in purchasing for me to report to. The company is in the middle of expansion, and I am supposed to get more training on planning, but have not received it yet, so that I can do planning and be an assistant to the Purchasing Manager. At first, I was supposed to do planning and purchasing, but now according to them, it has gotten over my head or will soon with the current expansion, and I can't do it all by myself. At my last job, the same thing happened. A more experienced person came in and basically took my job from underneath me. The only difference was that they were losing business and my company now is gaining business. So now I'm wondering, does anyone think there a great threat to my job in the current situation I'm in with a new person coming into Purchasing that will be my boss? Or, is there no reason for me to be worried even though I have been in a similar situation?
