My current employer, an advertising agency in London...?
I am going to be moving back to the States soon (I'm a Yank living and working in London).I have run into a bit of a snag, however, regarding a reference from my current employer here in the UK. Due to the office always being hectic and chaotic, I have been asked not to provide them as a reference contact. My direct supervisor, however, told me that he would be more than willing to write a reference letter and get those I have worked with to do the same for me. How do I explain this situation to a future employer back in the States? Thanks for the help and Merry Christmas.

Hello people,

Recently I have been busy applying for graduate applications for finance (and other) companies. However the formal requirements for graduate programmes is a 2(1) or a 1st.

I have recently completed my Masters, for which I was predicted a distinction, however I will not ascertain my result untill March 2007.

Does anybody have any career advice for a 2(2) graduate???

In all my experience the Managers of this country got there NOT by their knowledge and experience but by their ability to lick the higher ups behinds. I have never been able to respect them because their intelligence is often substandard!

I am interested in pursuing a career in this field. The only past sales experience I have is in retail sales. I worked as a sales rep. for Rex T.V two and a half years ago. I held this position seven years ago. I graduated a year and a half ago. I earned a degree in Marketing. My G.P.A was around 2.7. Should I attempt to enter this field or try to get some business to business sales experience.
