Your employer has asked for your input on filling a crucial executive position in a country where females have been historically oppressed and relegated to the lowest-paying and most demeaning jobs. What's more, if this position is not filled immediately, the company risks the loss of a multi-million dollar business contract. However, the most qualified candidate by far happens to be a woman. So what advice would you give your employer?

When it comes to budget problems. They are the ones should be blamed because tax payers are paying their salaries. I still don't get why government workers have special treatment in terms of job security and benefits. Any input??

I am 6 months pregnant and already have 2 little children... so I'm tired... but I don't know if this is the reason for my stupid comments all the time. I do stupid crap at work that makes me come off as not knowing what I'm doing when I really do. Like asking my supervisor a question when I have the answer right in front of me... and while I'm asking him, I realize... there it is! Or, forgetting to make changes to an entire section of a drawing because I'm in a hurry and then it just looks like I didn't know I was supposed to.... It pisses me off!! Is it because I'm tired, or that I'm having brain farts because I'm pregnant, or am I just an idiot?

I verbally was offered a place on a course, relating to my work - I have worked in this field professionally since 1999, and now am starting my own company as well.
I was told that submitting the forms was a formality to apply for the course, and I did so.
Only to be refused the place on the course, since, according to the refusal letter, I had no experience in the subject. Regardless of the fact I have been working in this field since 1999. (needless to say my original application had been backed up with CV, newspaper articles, long statement, etc- basically more than was asked for).
The educational institution then tried to back out of the fact they had offered me the place, and informed me that the course I had applied for was not described more than "sketchily" on thier literature and that there had been a misunderstanding. I do however have a witness to when I was stood in that office being verbally offered the place on the course originally.

Do I have any rights?
