These are very hard questions to answer because all of our lives we've been taught to never bragg or speak about ourselves too much. But that is exactly what they are trying to get you to do. They want to know what qualities you have that someone else doesn't. Discuss your work habits/ethic, how you are willing to come in early and stay late, just to make sure the job is done and done right. As far as your education, before you go to the interview think of a class you've taken or a project that could someway, anyway relate to the business. I was an Ag major and was interviewing with my current company that manufactures printed boxes, and they asked that question. I had taken a forestry class in college(thought it was rediculous), but I just raved about how intersted I was after that class and just spouted off some random things that I had learned that could pertain to paper board. It's fine to make a stretch just don't out right lie. And never say I don't know.

Oh what an opportunity to sell yourself. I wait for questions like this. And the answer is very simple. Think of your skills as a product, something that they want but are unsure. Now you are a salesperson, and you have a buyer in front of you. So what are they asking? They want to hear assurances from you that you have the skills that they want.

This is what I do. Before the interview, I list out the skills and qualifications required for the job. I then match them up with my experience and qualifications. And this is on my copy of the resume. Come that question, I start by telling them how my personality fits their needs, how I am a hard and contentious worker. And finally I reiterate their needs and follow each one with my skills and experiences.

Education question is important if you are a just starting out from school. I always start by stating that my education teaches more than the subject at hand. I also say that while the subject matter in school has prepared me for the job (if it is - like engineering degree - engineering job), education has taught me to solve problems, to work in teams and to be diligent.

It depends whether you are in need of a job or some employer is running after you.

If you are need of a job then;
You will go for any job which satsfies your need.But one of the factors i.e. satisfaction will be missing.

And satisfaction you will have only when you have choice of selection which scarcely happens.

Therefore how to convince your employer that you are best choice for the job ?

The whole thing depends on your attitude and perception of situation which may arise in a job.If you keep positive attitude there will not be much difficulty to convince the employer.

You will have to develope another skill as to what response your employer would like to hear.[ Not appeasement all the time, certainly not.]

The education certainly helps. But not always since our education system is not job orientd. You will find many science graduates working in banks.

I hate that question, because I'd be inclined to answer it honestly by saying "How in the hell should I know? I don't know who my competition is!" But since that answer will get your resume thrown into the round file, let's think of something else, shall we?

How about "I have a strong work ethic and actively seek opportunities to be challenged, to learn new things, and to apply creativity to problem solving. No one will work harder to succeed and advance your company's mission than I."

As far as the education part of it, we need more details from you.
