If you have experience...state that you have the experience as the first reason. Say the other stuff below as well after stating this fact.

If you don't, say these things: Because I have a great work ethic, I am a team player, I am organized, I get along with many personality types, I have fun while working and make the work fun for everyone else around me, I really have a passion for (fill in the blank).

Be prepared to cite examples in your past work life on how you do the things above.

Explain how you meet the qualifications of the position, how you will become an asset quickly in the new position and contribute to company success.

Do not say you are the "best" for the position, please. As an employer, I follow up with, "How do you know you are the best for the position?" To me the comment is fluff since you don't know the other candidates.
